Ian Patrick Cler is a sought out professional session guitarist, music director, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and music producer in the San Diego area.  His ability to play many genres of music keeps his work steady.  His versatility to switch from jazz, gospel, latin, funk to rock keep him in demand as a professional live and studio guitarist. Playing on many full albums, singles, and tracks for different artists, he has kept busy with clients locally and world wide. Originally form the Chicago area, he began his career by simply performing on guitar with many great artists. He holds his bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies from Columbia College Chicago and currently teaches at Point Loma Nazarene University as an adjunct professor of guitar.

While his career is a professional musician and producer, his supreme love is being a husband to Nichole, and father to Lorelai, Wally, and Gemma Lyn.
